My Disney Top 5 - Walt Disney Resort Hotel Restaurants (more

image Everything is just awesome. A seat by the window overlooking the stream that flows down through the main courtyard is all I need to instantly relax me and prepare me for the great meal that I know is on it's way. Take your pick. The artisanal cheese plate is always a must to start. The portobello soup is dreamy. Try the buffalo striploin, the sweet potato gnocchi or the seared scallops. Better yet, eat here over and over again and try everything. But no matter what you do, do not pass up the truffle fries. I could go to Artist Point and have an exquisite gourmet meal paired with a delicious Pacific Northwest wine. I could also go to Artist Point and order a cold anchor steam and an order of the incredibly, delectable truffle fries and die a happy man and that's why it's my number one. My father-in-law is fond of saying "dining out is an adventure." To paraphrase him; "dining out at Walt Disney World is most certainly an adventure." To be honest, I can't say that I've had a bad meal on property.

Apple iWatch And Disney - Business Insider

image Want to buy food while you're at the park? Just scan your wristband and enter a PIN. Tired of scrambling for your hotel key? Simply tap the wristband to your door. The wristband is connected to a credit card and is capable of replacing your wallet, keys, and theme park tickets throughout Disney's sprawling campus. It essentially acts as a digital ID that you wear around your wrist. The sensors within the band are also contextually aware and can detect where you are. Here's how Bajarin described one experience: But these RFID bands also had proximity features so when we were on a ride like Splash Mountain where they take a picture of you as you start the downward slide, it automatically sensed from our bands we were on the ride and that picture was automatically sent to our Disney picture site as well. Bajarin notes this mobile identity aspect could be crucial for the success of the iWatch. He even went so far as to say that Apple "would be crazy" not to pursue such an idea. What's more, this concept appears to seamlessly fit with other initiatives Apple is rumored to be prioritizing moving forward. Numerous reports have suggested that the company will dive deeper into mobile payments this year, and Bajarin's reasoning makes the iWatch seem like a perfect fit for that goal.

‘Girl Meets World,’ ‘Zapped’ Deliver for Disney Channel in Friday Premiere | Variety

image Disney Channel gave Girl a strong launchpad by skedding it behind the premiere of original telepic Zapped, featuring two of the channels latest stars, Zendaya and Spencer Boldman. Zapped opened at 8 p.m. to 5.7 million viewers, enough to make it the top-rated cable telecast of the year to date in kids 2-11 (2.9 million), kids 6-11 (2.3 million) and tweens 9-14 (2.1 million). However, Zapped fell short of the high bar set last summer by Disney Channels retro beach-party musical Teen Beach Movie , which garnered 8.4 million viewers in its July 2013 debut. Girl bowed at 9:45 p.m. with 2.3 million viewers in kids 2-11, 1.8 million in kids 6-11 and 1.7 million in tweens. In a clear sign that parents were watching Zapped with their kids, the telepic did a healthy 1.3 million viewers in adults 18-49. Girl brought in 1.6 million viewers in adults 18-49. With Girl, the series that picks up where ABCs 1990s TGIF comedy Boy Meets World generated a tidal wave of media coverage and nostalgia for the Alphabets distinct brand of family comedies from the 1980s and 90s. Boy Meets World reruns were a staple on Disney Channel for years, which primed the pump for interest in Girl. Disney Channel said Girl ranks as the most-viewed series ever on the Watch Disney Channel authenticated app and the most downloaded Disney Channel series preview on iTunes. Prior to Girl, the record-holder on Watch Disney Channel was Teen Beach Movie.
